PROJECT: ISLES - Enter The METAVERSE!
Alongside the development of the 2-D Soulofox MMORPG, our developers have been hard at work on a full, 3-D Metaverse, known as Project: Isles. This article will discuss the goals and details of this exciting project!
Why Project: Isles?
The primary goal of Project: Isles is to bring together project partners that share the same core values as the Soulofox family. Each of these partners will have their own islands — hence the name — scattered across the Project: Isles metaverse. Each island will be uniquely themed and designed to match the personality and goals of our individual partners. They will be a hub for our partnered communities to gather together, hang out socially, play games, hold parties, visit in-game stores— the opportunities are truly endless!
But wait… what if I don’t own a partner NFT? Can I still visit other Islands?
Of course you can! Our islands offer the unique opportunity to visit one another using the NFT of ANY of our partners! So let’s say, for example, you are a Soulofox NFT holder but you want to go visit our Turtles partner island. All you need to do is portal over to their island, and boom — you are hanging out with our Turtle buddies with a brand new island to explore!
There will also be a limited “guest” mode available soon after launch, so even if you don’t own any NFTs, you will still be able to check out the islands and get a sense for what each project is all about. We view this as a great opportunity for anyone considering joining the NFT space, but looking to learn more before diving right in.
Our development team is working quickly to add more partner islands — in fact, we now have the capability to release six partner islands per month!
The Soulofox MMORPG is a play-to-earn game. What about Project Isles?
We are happy to let you know that our Soulofox Island will indeed have play-to-earn functionality! While these details are still being worked out, we can say that simply hanging out and engaging with our metaverse in various ways will allow you to earn Soulocoin.
We will also be working with projects that have their own coin or currency, helping them to integrate their own economies into their Islands should they so choose. Ultimately, though, Soulocoin will be the most widely used and integrated coin throughout this metaverse.
Is Project: Isles ONLY for Solana NFTs?
You may be surprised to learn that the answer is no! While Soulofox itself is based on the Solana blockchain, Project: Isles is open to partners from other blockchains, including Ethereum. We are also actively looking to add Islands from outside the NFT space, such as game companies, fashion designers, shoe brands, and more! Our ultimate goal is for Project: Isles to become a full-fledged and fully immersive metaverse that offers a home for partners and projects that appeal to everyone!
