Soulofox RPG Demo is LIVE!
A 2D MMORPG FOR THE RETRO GAMER IN ALL OF US!
The team at Soulofox is very pleased to introduce our game demo, a browser-based experience which is playable NOW on PC! While the full game is still in development, we wanted to give our holders a taste of what’s to come.
A BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF FANTASY AND EXPLORATION
After logging into the demo, you will be able to use any Soulofox NFT in your wallet as your in-game avatar. That’s right: all 2,222 NFTs have their own fully customized skin within the game!
From there, you will be introduced to the quiet and cozy Ampleforth Village, which players can explore as they please. Expect to encounter the charming homes of villagers, beautiful scenery, and eccentric townsfolk — all lovingly and painstakingly rendered in a handmade, pixel art style. Visit the mayor’s Mansion, have a chat with the local blacksmith, meet Scarecrow Bob at his perch atop the village… I won’t spoil the rest!
Currently our demo exists mainly as a social hangout space for our NFT holders, to give them a feel for what we are creating. In the very near future, you can expect this game to feature more playable content, including:
- A full-fledged storyline for our hero, Maximus
- Competitive and cooperative group quests, including raids
- In-game earning of Soulocoin for reaching certain story checkpoints
- In-game store to exchange coins for game items and NFTs
- Development of even more play-to-earn features
Game updates will be released regularly as we continue to expand this fantastical yet dangerous world!
HOW TO ACCESS THE GAME
Access to the game is very simple! First, you will need a Soulofox NFT. These are currently available at the Magic Eden Marketplace: https://magiceden.io/marketplace/soulofox
Once your Foxian is safe in your wallet, visit https://app.soulofox.com/ , create an account, and click the “2D GAME DEMO” link. That’s it! You and your Foxian are now ready to explore.
